Radek Buršík has become a new partner at Sokol, Novák, Trojan, Doleček a partneři in September. He will be mainly responsible for the development of legal services in the areas of tax litigation and tax law, administrative law and ESG. He will also work closely with existing partners as well as the entire SNtdpA team.
Although they both excel as criminal defence lawyers, this area makes up only about a quarter of the agenda of a still relatively new entity on the domestic legal scene - Sokol, Novák, Trojan, Doleček a partneři. For the sixth time, so called "Václav Mandák Prize", the prize for the best professional article published in the journal Bulletin of Advocacy in the previous year was awarded out of competition at the Lawyer of the Year Gala, which took place on Friday, May 12 2023 at the Hotel International in Brno. This year, it was awarded for the article "Making websites inaccessible" to a pair of authors JUDr. Tomáš Sokol, attorney at law, member of the Board of Directors of the CBA and President of the Union of Attorneys at law of the Czech Republic, and prof. Ing. Vladimír Smejkal, CSc., LL.M., DrSc., forensic expert in cybernetics and professor at the Faculty of Business at the Brno University of Technology.
